September Suits

with 5 comments

If you fancy a brand new suit, these beauties have just been released at Heth Haute Couture. My favourite one is above, this is 100% original Mesh, so nobody else will be producing it.  Click on the picture for a larger version and you’ll see the absolutely gorgeous texture work on that jacket.  It’s raw embellished silk and in advanced lighting conditions, the embroidery shows up really well. That jacket is joined by a black shirt, slacks and belt.  The tie is optional but I think it really finishes the suit off well.

Above shows the full suit.  Also included is a pair of formal shoes with prim socks so there’s no need to struggle with any gaps, and of course you can move these to fit perfectly.  I was wearing the ADAM Mesh Body with the medium suit.  There’s 5 sizes and the suit is an all-in-one piece, just click and wear.

The next suit is the Christopher Men’s Formal.  Very smart and something a bit different to make you stand out in a crowd.  There is an embroidery overlay on the jacket and you can see this best in Advanced Lighting Conditions.  On Midday, it will appear black, but that’s no bad thing!  Again, this is 100% original Mesh, and it’s so nice to have something unique.  An all-in-one piece, click and wear with no fitting problems.  I was wearing the size medium again, there are 5 sizes in all.

This time, there’s a smart bow tie that you can add to the outfit.   And I really like those formal shoes – same as with the Neo suit.

Now I’m a bit late showing you the September group gift because I thought I’d already covered it  (your blogger here is getting old and feeble *laughs*), but there are still 3 days left to  go and claim your copy.  It’s a casual set which includs the boots – the Chandler Men’s Ensemble.

Click and add this all-in-one outfit consisting of Jeans, Heth’s designer H Belt, and hooded casual top.  Wonderful textures here, the top has plenty of room, 3 quarter sleeves and a zipper feature.  This is a great look for Autumn days and will fit most Mesh bodies – the sizing is 5 standard Mesh sizes, I was wearing the small version so there’s plenty of room for larger sized gents. Don’t forget to wear your Group!

Last but not least, this is the free gift for September. You don’t have to belong to the HHC group, even, to collect this platinum and peridot bracelet.

There’s a standard and a resize version included of the Khalid Bracelet.  Peridot are mid-green gemstones and the intensity of the stone depends upon the iron content. Peridot is mined in Arkansas, Arizona on the San Carlos Reservation, Hawaii, Nevada, and New Mexico at Kilbourne Hole, in the US; and in Australia, Brazil, China, Egypt, Kenya, Mexico, Myanmar (old Burma), Norway, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and Tanzania. And some have even been found in meteorites!

Those glasses I was wearing with the Neo Suit are the HHC Men’s Couture Aviator Shades (silver) – various colours available instore.

ADAM  – V1.4 b Mesh Body
Akeruka – Aron Bento Head with skin #6 for both head & body via OMEGA relay system

Please note that HHC Marketplace is being renewed and revamped at the moment, but Inworld stores are open!

Well suited for all occasions

with 12 comments

Hethwen of Heth Haute Couture has been turning out menswear this July like nobodies business,  his graphics program must be on fire by now!  So I thought I’d better do a post featuring everything so far before my Apparel folder explodes 🙂

First up is Dom Pedro and his favourite rare breeds bull.  Don’t ask, I think I’ve had way too much sun this July.  Anyways, Dom Pedro the 1st was the founder and first emperor of Brazil and Heth originally made this fabulous outfit for Rodrigo Colt-Stable – Mr. Virtual World Brazil as his National Costume. Dom Pedro was a true style icon of his time, and the epitome of fashion. This ensemble reflects the panache of his style moved forward.

An elaborate cutaway jacket with standing collar is detailed in acanthus gold gimp and features a six button open front with jeweled waist and back chains, epaulette shoulders, wide cuffs, matching vest and slacks, and includes jeweled dress sword, Jeweled lapel ornaments, matching leather shoes with socks, standing collar shirt, jeweled cravat, white gloves, and double back caplets. Includes five mesh sizes.  You might need to pull the collar part down a bit according to your size, I was using the size M which looked suitably elegant.  Everything else (and there are lots of details to this outfit including a small cape which has versions for left and right shoulders) fitted perfectly. The cravat is flexi and flows nicely with avatar movement.

FLOOD – Aurochs Bull
Dysfunctionality – [DDD] Thick Fur Rug – used black texture, my fav texture change rug
Apple Fall
Notting Hill Cobblestones Set
Kent Wall Set

Next up is the “Colt Men’s Formal”. This formal ensemble exudes the couture brilliance of both worlds – a strong Latin influence and elegance of the vampire. Featuring a three piece formal suit in black silk detailed with gold, burgundy and hunter green acanthus leaves. Includes Jacket, matching slacks, vest, boutonnière, shirt. cravat, brooch, belt, lace sleeve cuffs, and formal jeweled shoes. In five sizes and compatible with most mesh avatars.

I was using the size S for once, just seemed to have that thinness that the vampires are famous for. And if you think Louis is casting a shadow on the wall, he’s not, it’s the Samowar.  A container used to heat blood after it’s been in the freezer…errr hot water for tea, especially in Russia!

If you’re looking for a summer suit and want something that’s a bit outside the box, how about one of these from the “Ryan Men’s Suit Collection”. There’s a choice of 8 and I did them in order from the left, 1 – 8.  These are only L$99 and they include the shoes as well. The suits feature matching jacket and slacks in tropical Hawaiian prints with coordinating silk shirts and pocket squares. They are  perfect for themed weddings, special events, or just to spice up your wardrobe. Includes 5 standard sizes and I was wearing the size S again, with the ADAM Mesh Body.

Don’t forget, you can click on any of the pictures to get a larger version.

Now for the gifts this month.  The free gift where you don’t even need to belong to the HHC group is the “Clan Heron Brooch”.  A stunning gold and emerald brooch to ‘Lift the Wings’ of your Scottish Pride. Brilliant cut round, pear and marquise emeralds are encrusted over an embossed double winged brooch that is gently detailed with Celtic knots. A truly unique brooch that will compliment and flatter.  I’m wearing the brooch with the Richard Men’s Suit available at the HHC mainstore.

*~*~*

Finally, the group gift is the “Chip Men’s Ensemble”.  A zip front hoodie is paired with HHC black tapered leg designer jeans. Includes white couture sunglasses, complete mesh outfit in 5 standard mesh sizes, and black leather sneaker style boots that fit beautifully into the cuffs of the jeans.  I was wearing the size M.   Make sure you have your HHC group tag on to collect this July gift.

You’ll find everything that I’ve blogged today at the outlets below.

Ascot Opening Day!

with 9 comments

OK, so Prince Philip wasn’t able to get to Royal Ascot either, bless him! Hope he makes a speedy recovery, he does so well for 96 years old. I least I managed the Races virtually 🙂

This is the “Always Dreaming Men’s Suit” from Heth Haute Couture and it’s the June Group Gift.

You’ll be off to the races in this gorgeous suit featuring a crisp linen jacket, matching blue satin and gold foil waistcoat, silk shirt, bow tie and pocket square, plaid trousers and saddle Oxford shoes. There’s also a monocle, belt, socks, panama hat, boutonnière and walking cane. We even get optional Mesh hands and all the alphas, Heth, you are spoiling us!

The suit will fit most Mesh Bodies (I tried it on ADAM which was fine) and has 5 standard sizes XS – XL. It’s an all-in-one suit so no messing about trying to get everything to fit properly. The prim socks fit into the shoes and disappear into the trouser hem so nothing untoward shows. If you chose to wear it on a Mesh body all you need to do is to make sure the neck fits the collar of the shirt and alpha everything else out except for the hands and neck. You can even wear your Bento hands with this suit.  It really is pretty easy to do that. I wore the Medium version, by the way.

For the hat, you’ll need to wear either hat hair or else a nice hair base. You can resize the hat at a click. I didn’t use the cane in the pictures but it looks very smart with a horse head deco in gold and the cane is a dark wood.

Horse is an Arabian by AKK Horses and the apple bucket is from JIAN‘s Apple Orchard Set.

A Suit for City Nights

with one comment

hhc-theo-red-jacket

Heth Haute Couture have brought out a couple of fabulous men’s suits for December, this is “Theo” which has variations in the jacket of red, blue and green, and I’ll be showing the more casual suit tomorrow.

“Theo” is a couture suit which features a black crepe jacket detailed with sequins and beads over a silk shirt and waistcoat with tie, matching crepe slacks as a separate piece, and French cuffs that you add on – they have diamond cuff links embedded in the cuff. Formal leather shoes are also included along with filler prim socks. The alpha takes the whole of the body out including the feet. Sizes are 5 standard – XS to XL and FitMesh sizes.  I was wearing the standard size M in both the jacket/waistcoat/shirt/tie combo and the slacks.

HHC jewelry I was also wearing – Myrddin Brooch/Quinn Ring – find these at the Mainstore.

This suit is available in three colourways at L$199 and in a Fatpack at L$399. Where else can you get such quality at a daft price? Here’s what the blue and green versions look like.

I’m wearing one of the Advent calendar skins from 7 Deadly s{K}ins – this is the “River” system skin in Taupe tone. It’s a good medium to dark tone and suited a more round face which is my usual style as you see here in the photograph. It includes with and without hairbase versions.

There’s a different variety of skins/appliers every day until 31st.  You do need to belong to the 7 Deadly s{K}ins group but you can join free for this month!  Whether you wear system or Mesh body/face – there’s something for everyone.

Here’s a landmark to the 7 Deadly s{K}ins  gent’s department – go in the door and to the right,  you’ll find the Advent calendar tree on the wall at the back. Each day is designated by a miniature Christmas Tree, have your group on and simply click to receive the gift for that day.

More tomorrow, so until then…

Store hunt at [VM] Vero Modero

vero-modero-red-dot-hunt

There’s a number of really good hunts on at the moment but don’t miss this one, gents!  It’s the [VM] Vero Modero Red Dot Hunt.

Go to the store (and you’ll land near to the men’s section) and search the vendors for red dots. There are five in the menswear section and if you like the product you can get it for only L25. There’s a mixture of casual and formal outfits so for only L125 you get a total of 5 outfits, can’t be bad! Now don’t pay the vendor, pay the red dot to receive your hunt prize.

Arrchie and me are wearing two of the outfits available, they just happen to be formal wear. I’m not going to tell you the location of the red dots but they are not that hard to find. There’s also a similar hunt for the ladies in their apparel section.

Carlito Men’s Suit – Group Gift – HHC

with 7 comments

hhc-carlito-mens-suit

There’s a stunning group gift just waiting for us gents over at Heth Haute Couture!  Only one more week when the “Carlito Men’s Suit” can be collected, until the end of September in fact, so better get your skates on 🙂

A couture suit, this all in one mesh is so easy to fit. The material for the jacket is a tooled bronze leather that looks three dimensional and is sure to make a fashion statement with the six button front and peak lapel.  Add to that the black crepe slacks, emerald tie and black silk shirt and you’ve got a very nice suit. Also included is a pair of black Oxford shoes and filler prim socks, and a couple of alpha layers with and without feet, versatile for when you want to wear other shoes.

hhc-carlito-mens-suit-jacket

Sizing is for five standard sizes XS – XL. I was wearing the S size for a change as I wanted to get that ultra slim look that’s rather popular at the moment. I must say that this size fitted very well around the neck. Here’s a back view on midday light setting – and it’s just as good.

HHC – Jean Paul Ensemble & Alessio Men’s Suit

with 3 comments

HHC - Jean Paul Ensemble 1

If you love to go out and dance of an evening and you want to make a statement, then this could be the outfit for you! From Heth Haute Couture, it’s the “Jean Paul Ensemble”.

Lots of items in this set, including Oxford shoes and a set of matching jewelry. The apparel is composed of a  relaxed-fit blazer detailed with a music print silk jacket, a neon DJ tee, and matching crepe slacks. Now there’s no fiddling with these – they are one Mesh item that you just click and add, and worn with the alpha – it’s a matter of a few clicks to look good. Apparel has standard sizing which is generous so it will fit a lot of shapes – XS – XL – and I only needed the size S. It’s well worth getting a DEMO to see the possibilities because it may even fit the larger mesh bodies.

HHC - Jean Paul Ensemble 2

I love these Oxfords!  They have a hi-shine effect and are easy to wear. Also included are filler prim socks that do away with the need to hide the shoes under the slacks cuffs because who’d want to do that? I can foresee these little fillers being useful with a lot of shoes and pants cuff issues.

HHC - Jean Paul Oxfords

Here’s all the jewelry. There are resizers on most of it and the black diamonds are animated for extra enhancement. The watch is on SL time, so you can check if you’re late or not!

HHC - Jean Paul Jewelry

Later on, I went to the The Vordun Museum and Gallery, a wonderful interactive experience by Jake Vordun,  which features the use of experience keys. Visitors can get a real life feeling of being at a museum. One of the current three exhibits was all about the Titanic – fascinating!

The Vordun Museum and Gallery

I stood by a photograph of the main ballroom to show off this suit. It’s the “Alessio Men’s Suit” and I wanted a monochrome background to show it off.

HHC - Alessio Men's Suit 1

This is a stunning suit and one of my favourites by HCC. It’s a contemporary, sleek style which you can wear a variety of hair lengths with as you wish.  This is fine couture at its best, Alessio features a heavily embroidered couture fabric in a bold fade design.

HHC - Alessio Men's Suit 2

The pants include a black leather belt and there are matching dress shoes, glasses and sunglasses all included. Standard sizing XS – XL and I chose a size M.

HHC - Alessio Men's Suit 3

Other items in these pictures – No_Match hairs, the shorter sassy style is No_Way and the longer style is No_End

Visit HHC mainstore to collect your copies of these must have outfits!
