7 Deadly s{K}ins are having a great Halloween Hunt at the mainstore!  It’s called the Witch Hunt and the top prize for the gents is the “Juro” mesh face applier. Such a great gift and well worth trying to find all the 13 clues and gifts along the way.

A curse has been placed on the lands of Valyria, causing a thick fog to descend. A local convent of Valyrian witches seeking revenge for the murders of their sisters is to blame.

Your help is needed in finding the witch that has placed the curse!

In 13 locations from the main store of 7 Deadly s{K}ins to the garden on the grounds you will find hints to locate 13 witches. Once all 13 are found it will spell out the location of the final witch from whom the curse was made.

At each location you will find a prize for your Witch Hunting, find all 13 and you will score the main prize. Keep your eyes peeled for the bones of a sacrificed peasant that the witches murdered to increase their power. Each bone will lead you to the next.

Start at the gallows and collect a HUD. Attach the HUD and click on the small skull on top of the HUD giver and there will be your first hunt hint. You are looking for bones. Inside each bone you will find a prize and the next hint to the next bone. When you have found all of the skeleton you will automatically be delivered the main prize. During the hunt you can detach the HUD at any time and resume your hunt when your ready the HUD will save your found bones.

Juro contains 12 OMEGA face appliers based on CATWA in 3 skin tones and I was wearing the Cotton tone (the others are Drow and Stone).  You get clean, clean with hairbase, beard with hairbase. Also included are SLINK appliers for hands and feet.  It’s a very engaging, handsome skin.

Broody in 18th Century Cornwall

no-match_no-warning_gates-of-melancholy

“When the doors of perception are cleansed, man will see things as they truly are, infinite. For man has closed himself up, till he sees all things thro’ narrow chinks of his cavern.” ~ William Blake ~

A bit of an arty photo to illustrate the new hair by No.Match, which is available at the current round of Cosmopolitan and an amazing themed art sim called, “The Gates of Melancholy”.

“No.Warning” is a gorgeous unisex hairstyle (try the demo first) that comes in all of No.Match’s colours; it flows over the shoulders and has a goodly amount at the back. Makes you look like you’ve got masses of hair just about under control! I really like it and have styled it kind of Poldark, a broody drama on UK television set in 18th century Cornwall. In fact, the setting would be just about right for the west country, too.

Other items of apparel:

Knight’s Set by ::GABRIEL::  (parts of a gacha but you can easily collect it on MP in the gacha resellers)

Man Trybal Necklace by *Phoebe* – a long time and underrated designer, go and have a look

Back to the sim which has been created by shelly70. It is based on and inspired by the life and works of the famous American painter Andrew Wyeth,  a visual artist who was primarily a realist painter. He was one of the best-known U.S. artists of the middle 20th century. The Gates of Melancholy attempts to emulate and elicit the feel of the watercolour paintings of Mr Wyeth.  You’ll find spots throughout the sim where you can experience recreations of some of his paintings and you can pose, take pictures and create your own art work as you like it. I found it atmospheric and was already forming stories in my mind as I looked around.

HHC – Jean Paul Ensemble & Alessio Men’s Suit

HHC - Jean Paul Ensemble 1

If you love to go out and dance of an evening and you want to make a statement, then this could be the outfit for you! From Heth Haute Couture, it’s the “Jean Paul Ensemble”.

Lots of items in this set, including Oxford shoes and a set of matching jewelry. The apparel is composed of a  relaxed-fit blazer detailed with a music print silk jacket, a neon DJ tee, and matching crepe slacks. Now there’s no fiddling with these – they are one Mesh item that you just click and add, and worn with the alpha – it’s a matter of a few clicks to look good. Apparel has standard sizing which is generous so it will fit a lot of shapes – XS – XL – and I only needed the size S. It’s well worth getting a DEMO to see the possibilities because it may even fit the larger mesh bodies.

I love these Oxfords!  They have a hi-shine effect and are easy to wear. Also included are filler prim socks that do away with the need to hide the shoes under the slacks cuffs because who’d want to do that? I can foresee these little fillers being useful with a lot of shoes and pants cuff issues.

Here’s all the jewelry. There are resizers on most of it and the black diamonds are animated for extra enhancement. The watch is on SL time, so you can check if you’re late or not!

Later on, I went to the The Vordun Museum and Gallery, a wonderful interactive experience by Jake Vordun,  which features the use of experience keys. Visitors can get a real life feeling of being at a museum. One of the current three exhibits was all about the Titanic – fascinating!

I stood by a photograph of the main ballroom to show off this suit. It’s the “Alessio Men’s Suit” and I wanted a monochrome background to show it off.

HHC - Alessio Men's Suit 1

This is a stunning suit and one of my favourites by HCC. It’s a contemporary, sleek style which you can wear a variety of hair lengths with as you wish.  This is fine couture at its best, Alessio features a heavily embroidered couture fabric in a bold fade design.

HHC - Alessio Men's Suit 2

The pants include a black leather belt and there are matching dress shoes, glasses and sunglasses all included. Standard sizing XS – XL and I chose a size M.

Other items in these pictures – No_Match hairs, the shorter sassy style is No_Way and the longer style is No_End
