Second Life Home & Garden Expo 2019 #3

with 6 comments

Today, I’ve got three more creative designers for you from the Expo!

1. First up is LozMac Designs and you’ll find them on Hope 3.  Lulu-Belle (Lilith Sablatnig) runs LozMac and she’s a Real World Artist, too.  Check out her Second Life® creations blog and also on Marketplace.

Lulu’s first Donation item is the Clear Background Wall/Floor Decal textured with “Heart Mandala 1 – Mint & Pink”. This item is a convex prim. The front face and reverse have been textured with Lulu’s art, the rest have been set to clear.  This artwork is equally happy decorating walls as well as floors.

The second Donation item is the Wall Hanging textured with the same mandala design. Complex flowing vines and a plethora of hearts make up this mandala. Other colour versions are available with more to follow. My photograph was taken on advanced lighting so you can see the shininess of the satin texture, depending on what Windlight you choose.  Both pieces are Copy & Modify and have a Land Impact of 1. Naturally, my ragdoll cat had to get in there amongst the posh artworks but you can roughly gauge the size of the products from the size of the kitty!

2. Next up we’ve got Painted Pixels by Designer. Jenny Ashland. They are also on Marketplace. Painted Pixels specialises in small homes that will fit on the smallest of plots. You’ll find them on Hope 1.

Two homes are the Donation items.  Little Living – LI 21 and Boxer – LI 27

Little Living is an open plan, light and airy home on one floor. Glass doors swing open to reveal a ground floor living space with a fabulous full window section at the far end.  A small porch area decorates the front entrance of Little Living and lends itself to pot plants and patio furniture.  Although small, the house feels large inside and with a good garden by the window wall you could extend the feeling of spaciousness. The footprint is 13.8 meters by 6.9 meters and 0.218 meters high.

Boxer is composed of a living area on the ground floor and a walled garden roof.  Boxer’s size is 2.02 meters by 0.89 meters and 0.16 meters high, there are sliding glass doors to the outside which includes a little courtyard, and steps to a grass covered roof garden at the side of the house.

Boxer has the Easy Texture Changer Pro for windows, walls, trim and doors plus security settings. The windows you can set open or closed for the horizontal windows, and the doors can also be set open or closed. They look as if you’ve got roller blinds on the inside of the windows/doors when closed. There’s texture change for the Outside walls 1 and 2 – green, white, tan and blue. The inside walls of the ground floor room have options of 4 neutral shades. The trim outside has options of green, white, tan and blue. With all these choices you’ll be able to change the house for that individual look.

3.   Last, but not least, our third Designer is GARDEN CENTRE by GC Underwood.  You’ll find GARDEN CENTRE on Hope 4.

There are two 100% Donation items – Love Island and Boxhill

“Love Island” is a beautiful tropical hideaway complete with rocks, palm trees, animated waves and island style décor.  There are over 30 couples poses included in the décor.  Footprint is around 40 meters by 10 meters and the Land Impact is 75.

“Boxhill” is a contemporary concrete industrial style open plan dwelling with glass walls and garage style doors. Indoors, the windows are tinted for privacy. Just click on the outside glass doors to allow them to raise up into the ceiling and reveal the furnishings.  This is a complete product – building and landscaping – that you can simply rez and enjoy.

Relax around the lap pool with elegant landscaping and a flowing fountain that has tranquil noise.  Boxhill is partially furnished with items from Blizzard creations. The bed, sofa, armchairs and garden bench all have couples or single poses. Boxhill can also be used as a sky dwelling by adding extra railings around the edge.

House – 31 prims
Landscaping – 163 prims
Furniture and décor – 113 prims
Total – 307 prims
Footprint – approximately 30 metres by 33 metres
