Cluckington Palace celebrations!

with 13 comments

Many congrats to Megan and Harry, our lovely Royals who got married yesterday! Meanwhile, down at Cluckington Palace, we had a wedding of our own 🙂

Pride of place goes to Galland Homes – we borrowed their “Freeman Trellis” and Rob dropped it off the evening before. This is a really beautiful piece for garden, patio and larger places such as parks. We modified this for the size and it was really huge – still only 188 prims though! The ivy is a separate Mesh piece so you can take that off if you want it plain. There’s a terracotta planter from Galland Homes as the FaMESHed update group gift, too, so don’t miss that.

Little Branch was engaged as Head Gardeners. The Poplar trees in the background were later going on the the Chelsea Flower Show which is on this coming week, so we were rather lucky to get those! The beautiful white and yellow flower fields matched the real life flower displays at Harry & Meghan’s chapel function!

All the chickens and their décor was on loan from Cluckington Farm, courtesy of TLC Home Collection. Yes, they can be detached from their décor but they don’t take kindly to losing their display posts, especially the cockerel! Don’t Barry & Egghan make a cute couple?

Other décor was supplied by Dahlia with her stunning Tenerife Lanterns, she kindly sent them by helicopter to our estate here. PACK provided the Calla Lilies which the chickens really appreciated as they went so well with their feathers! Merak sent us a couple of stunning garden ornaments with lights.

It was just as well that we had those lights as the celebrations went on and on, right through to cock crow in the morning. And most important, we had David Heather to thank for the camera which took lots of pictures for us to keep.  It was a vintage camera and sometimes you get the best shots from those.

Would you believe it, all the chicks behaved themselves… well mostly!  I just hope that Moz recovers in time for work on Monday, he was much worse than the chicks 🙂
