A Home for the Autumn

with 6 comments

*~*~*

Why not be extravagant and get a home especially for the Autumn season?  Actually, the new Peermont prefab by Galland Homes would be just as nice all year round, but the colours and textures especially suit autumnal landscaping. I’ve set it higher in the ground that you’d normally do but I wanted to put steps up to the porch area as if it were a little woodland hideaway.

Features:-

Entrance hall with stairs to 2 good size bedroom and landing
Hall leads to 2 room downstairs and closet under the stairs
Smaller room with window and raised ceiling effect
Larger room with entrance pillars, fireplace and shelving unit, partial partition to deliniate lounge and dining areas, and flagstone floor smaller room off it – would make nice kitchen area or sunroom
Control panel by fireplace – for windows – blinds on/off in all rooms or individual rooms, fire on/off, lock/unlock front and back doors, security – media – and  saving landmarks options

A close-up of the porch shows the latest furniture set called “Highland Bench set” which is made by Newchurch. This is such low impact and it has a number of options for texture change, you’ll be able to match it with most interiors.  Although it’s really meant to be an indoors set, I’ve put it out here in the porch because I think you could do that on the warmer days of Autumn. I don’t know about those pictures, though, I’ve been a bit artful with those!

One of the things I admire about this bench is the number of animations.  There are 20 sized for ladies and the same again for gents.  Here I am musing about all the gardening jobs that need to be done for the season. Whether they’ll get done is another matter entirely.  A favourite family phrase of mine goes like this… sometimes I sits and thinks, sometimes I just sits 🙂 The Highlands bench is an excellent seat for  the latter.

    • Thanks so much, Sue! I’m very fond of the Autumn season, it’s like an apology for losing the summer 🙂
