Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness!

I was looking for autumnal quotes and started off with the classic poem by Keats, of which the first line is my title and ended up with…

It’s like going back to school. You know, autumn! Time for ‘Harry Potter’ ~ Robbie Coltraine

Never really thought of it like that but I do like the quote from British actor and comedian, Robbie, since Harry is one of my characters on this blog. I don’t know what he’d say about this beautiful cottage by Raindale which was part of the August Builder’s Box subscription, might be a bit too cosy for Harry.  The premier picture shows the back of the “Avendale Cottage” which has a porch with gazebo, string lights and deck, it’s just the right place for holding tea parties!  Some pictures of the inner rooms follow.

You can just see the porch as you enter the property, and it has a lovely picture window and there’s lots of room, rafters on the ceiling and warm wood flooring.  The next picture is going up the stairs to the bedroom, and the third shows the ceiling rafters, railings and arched window of the bedroom.

Here’s the scene on the porch, and it’s mostly prizes from Raindale’s  “Ellesmere” gacha set, matches everything so well!

And now you can see those delicious cakes in close-up!

I was really impressed with the new trees and bushes from Dysfunctionality. You can texture change them for many colours including all the colours of Fall – faded, red, yellow – those sorts of colours.  They have versions with and without sparkles for different environments.  These horticultural products are often on offer for daft prices like L$50 per set.  The Little Branch’s Sweet Chestnut is in the foreground here.

Here’s the Home & Garden products I used:-

    • Thanks very much, Cybele! Even though we are sad about the changing of the summer season, there’s always another one to look forward to next year 🙂
