Viking Legend

with 8 comments

Ragnar Lodbrok was a legendary Viking leader and hero of old Norse poetry and sagas from the Viking age.  According to this traditional literature, Ragnar distinguished himself by many raids against France and Anglo Saxon England during the 9th century.  When I saw this new release from 7 Deadly s{K}ins called ODIN, I was put in mind of Ragnar from the television series Vikings which is based on the Ragnar of old.

To get this look, you’ll need a Bento head and a mesh body that will take Omega HUDs. The 7 Deadly s{K}ins “Odin” pack contains 20 Omega Mesh Head appliers (based on the Bento CATWA Daniel head) in 5 skin tones – Taupe/Caramel/Clay/Steam (used in the pictures)/Stone and 2 facial hair options. There is also a Bento Shape which is Copy/Modify included.  The Shape is also available separately, check out the Second Floor of the guy’s dept and you’ll find it there.

I used the Adam Mesh Body with this Shape and the 7 Deadly s{K}ins Steam tone Omega applier for same.

It’s an easy matter to change the hair base using the CATWA HUD so as to get a nice blond colour, the hair is from EMO-tions Bradley which matches up perfectly. Add pants and boots from The Forge and a fur coat from !gO! and you’ve got Ragnar!

Here he is in close-up. I really think designer, Izara, has made an excellent job of both the shape and the skin. The nose is really elegant and the eyes are well spaced.

Pick up your copy of the Odin appliers and Shape from 7 Deadly s{K}ins guy’s department !

Cheers, m’dears 🙂

    • Awwws, thank you, my friend! It does take a bit of getting used and a right sided brain *laughs* I think if you approach it as a bit of fun, then it takes the panic away 🙂
