Adam Mesh Body - review 3

This is an honest appraisal of the Adam Mesh Body by designer, Ginger Chevalier.

I’ve yet to find a mesh body that enhanced my shape and was easy to use… until now. When I tried the Adam demo I was so surprised on a number of fronts. It’s true to say that I can work mesh bodies but even from the perspective of somebody completely new to them, this was not difficult to get a handle on. I’d suggest getting the demo, add the body and the alpha… add the HUD and start fiddling.

The HUD needs opening up (like those for SLINK hands and feet) so click on an arrow. You’ll find a choice of two skins – with or without body hair. I’ve included Ginger’s video from YouTube which goes through all the options on the HUD and there’s also a friendly Inworld group to join for tips and help.

The feet are compatible with SLINK flat feet so you can use all your existing shoes – this is not the same for every mesh body. One of the best features with Adam is that a set of neck tattoos are included and you can experiment with these to match your existing skins.  I was using my favourite Li Skin from *BIRTH* and it matched well with No. 9 skin on the HUD. When I added the No. 9 neck tattoo, it all blended in!  Now, I have never seen anything so damn easy to use.  I would have liked an option for  no chest hair but hair elsewhere ~ however, I expect the skin designers will offer that – hopefully. There’s 6 neck sizes which you can access via the HUD again – one of those should fit your existing shape and if not – alter in Appearance mode. Fingernails and toenails are matchable at a click on the HUD and also you can add shine to the skin with sliders.

Putting the body through some challenging poses – it held up well with minimal/no jaggies on the photography. Adam has clothes included with the body – vest, jeans,  sneakers and trunks. Do go into Appearance and play with the sliders – Adam is pretty versatile and will take a number of shapes without distortion.

Rear view, because if you’re like me, all angles are important! Adam also passes muster for most mens bitz and as long as said bitz have a colour control on them and are unrigged, you’re good to go.

Finally, Adam is OMEGA compatible which is important because it increases your choice of available skins, tattoos and clothing. Here’s the marketplace link for OMEGA.

Here’s Ginger’s useful vid, watch it for options that I’ve not elaborated upon:-
